The KfK Synchrotron Radiation Source [1] is designed to be a 2.5 GeV e
lectron storage ring with circulating current 100 mA and critical radi
ation wave length 0.2 nm. The storage ring consists of dipoles and qua
drupoles. The prototype dipole magnet has been built by Efremov Resear
ch Institute, Russia and will be delivered in KfK, Karlsrube at the en
d of June this year. A magnetic measurements facility has been set up
for magnetic field mapping, which includes Hall probe field mapping an
d rotating coil harmonic analysis system. The results of the measureme
nts are shown.
