Vy. Sverdlov et al., MULTIFILAMENTARY NB3SN SUPERCONDUCTORS ON THE BASE OF HIGH-TIN ALLOYED BRONZES FOR HIGH-FIELD MAGNETS, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 32(4), 1996, pp. 2879-2881
Multifilamentary Nb3Sn superconductors have been fabricated due to the
worked out technology of deformed bronze with increased content of ti
n (16...18wt%) production. Studies have been made of the effects of br
onze composition and thermal treatment conditions on the overall criti
cal current density of multifilamentary Nb3Sn superconductors. It is s
hown, that the use of the bronze with increased content of tin as well
as bronze alloying with titanium improves the superconducting propert
ies of composites, especially in high magnetic fields.
