Abstract
When noisy repetitive signals are observed, the noise cancellation is achieved using the synchronous averaging method but the counterpart of such an approach is the difficulty to have perfectly aligned signals. We are interested in characterizing the departures from perfect align ment; we propose a novel method to estimate both the jitter variance w ithout estimating the delays, and the amplitude fluctuations.
