Abstract
A description is given of the new finish grinding system for cement wi th integral high-pressure grinding rolls at the Lixhe cement works of S.A. Cimenteries CBR in Brussels, which came into operation in April 1 995 and has been running very satisfactorily ever since. The through-p ut of this energy-efficient cement grinding system lies between 85 and 190 t/h at product finenesses corresponding to Blaine values of 2800 to 3700 cm(2)/g. The specific power consumption varies between 20 and 36 kWh/t depending on the cement fineness.
