Abstract
The synthesis of dipyrazolebenzocycloheptenes bearing adamantoyl and r ibosyl groups is described. The reaction of dihydroxybenzocycloheptene dicarbonitrile with 2-hydroxyethylhydrazine leads to the compound wit h two hydroxyl spacer arms. The target compounds were synthesized by a damantoylation of the primary amines followed by glycosylation. The st ructures of the obtained compounds were confirmed by IR, NMR and mass spectrometry.
