Abstract
Knowledge of the biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi is limit ed and keys for their identification are not in a user-friendly format for the nonexpert. An Expert System, linked to the BEG (La Banque Eur opeenne des Glomales), has been developed on a CD-ROM to produce a mul timedia identification system for these fungi.
