Series of heterocyclic L-proline amides were prepared from BOC-L-proli
ne and heterocyclic amines (mostly substituted piperazines and morphol
ines) via active ester with hydroxysuccinimide. 4-(4-Fluorobenzoyl)pip
eridine afforded L-proline (4-fluorobenzoyl)piperidin-1-yl)benzoyl)pip
eridine (7b) simultaneously with expected L-proline 4-(4-fluorobenzoyl
)piperidide (7a). D-Proline -(3-(4-(3-chlorophenyl)piperazin-1-yl)prop
yl)amide (2) was prepared starting from D-proline. The amides were tes
ted by methods of biochemical and behavioural pharmacology.
