Abstract
Recently the interest in the axion has enhanced since it is a good can didate for cold dark matter. In this paper, we present an invisible-ax ion model in the framework of local SUSY SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1). After s etting the U(1)(PQ) symmetry-breaking scale f(a) to be the geometric h ierarchy mass scale, a narrow mass window for the axion is obtained. T his result fits the cosmological constraints quite well. Several possi ble ways of searching for axions are discussed too.
