Abstract
Synthesis of lanthanide porphyrin co-ordination compounds was describe d. The coordination compounds contain acetylacetonate-5,10,15,20-tetra phenylporphyrin ybtterbium, -5-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-10,15,20-tri(p-methox yphenyl) porphyrin lutetium acetylacetonate-5,10,15,20(p-methoxyphenyl ) porphyrin europium and onate-5,10,15,20-(1-naphthyl)-tetra-benzoporp hyrin erbium. The coordination compounds were characterized by element ary analysis, UV-Vis, IR spectra and H-1 NMR spectra.
