Abstract
Estrogenic 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase may promote tumour gro wth in some breast carcinomas. The 2.3 Angstrom structure of the human enzyme Complexed with 17 beta-estradiol gives insight into the specif icity of substrate binding.
