Abstract
Hypersensitivity reactions induced by tetracyclines are uncommon. A 41 -year-old man developed a hypersensitivity pneumonitis following treat ment with minocycline. The disease responded to withdrawal of the drug . T-lymphocytes may play a central role in the pathogenesis of this pn eumonitis. This observation shows that minocycline, despite its mild t oxicity profile, can give rise to serious adverse effects.
