Cyclopolymerization of dipropargylphenylamine was studied in the prese
nce of weak electron sigma-acceptor CBr4. The triple bond was activate
d thermally or by photoexcitation of donor-acceptor complex. This lead
s to the salt of quaternary iminium containing a triple bond conjugate
d with pi-system of aromatic nucleus and able to undergo thermal ol ph
otoinduced polymerization to form a cyclic polyconjugated polycation.
Complex formation of dipropargylphenylamine with CBr4 was studied, and
it was shown that it is possible to use light-sensitive compositions
based on these complexes in the processes of information recording.
