Abstract
Full C-13 NMR shift assignments have been made for both the sterculate and malvalate moieties in the seed oil from Sterculia foetida, and th e chain distribution has been determined from quantitative NMR measure ments. The proportion of malvalate is not significant at the inner cha in position.
