Abstract
In this paper, we prove that into isometries and disjointness preservi ng linear maps from C-0(X) into C-0(Y) are essentially weighted compos ition operators Tf=h . f circle phi for some continuous map phi and so me continuous scalar-valued function h. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
