IRREGULAR MIXED-LAYER STRUCTURE OF BA-BEHENATE MULTIBILAYER FILM

The one-dimensional stacking disorder in the structure of a Ba-behenat e multibilayer film prepared by the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique w as studied by X-ray diffraction pattern simulation. The theory of X-ra y diffraction by disordered lamellar structures was used for intensity calculations. The formation of an irregular mixed-layer structure, co nsisting of layers with different heights and different Ba contents, w as demonstrated.
