Different series of samples containing Fe, Co and P have been obtained
by electrodeposition. They have been prepared with different plating
parameters such as bath composition, working electrode voltage (versus
reference), and nature of counter-electrode. The influence of those v
ariables on the composition and properties of the deposit is investiga
ted and discussed, in comparison with the binary alloys Fe-P and Co-P.
In all the cases, increasing the voltage increases the content of Fe,
while the proportion of Co and P decrease. Samples with less that 10
at.% P are partially crystalline. All the samples are ferromagnetic at
room temperature and their hysteresis loops show different shapes dep
ending on the relative content of Fe and Co.
