V. Arnould et al., CT-ANGIOGRAPHY FOR DIAGNOSING INFANTILE I LIAC ARTERY ANEURYSMS, Canadian Association of Radiologists journal, 47(4), 1996, pp. 260-264
The authors describe an infant with an aneurysm of the right iliac art
ery, associated with three sites involving the inferior mesenteric art
ery and its first two branches, most likely related to an episode of c
hicken pox. Helical angiography with computed tomography, performed wi
th a continuous-rotation scanner, allowed precise assessment of the le
sions, in particular those affecting the inferior mesenteric artery.
