Iy. Andreeva et al., EFFECT OF HUMIC SUBSTANCES ON THE SORPTION RECOVERY OF COPPER FROM WATER WITH TIOPAN-2 FIBER, Journal of analytical chemistry, 51(7), 1996, pp. 716-719
It is found that humic and fulvic acids have no effect on the recovery
of copper(II) from water with a TIOPAN-2 fiber; however, when the con
centration of these acids is higher than 10 mg/L, the desorption of co
pper from the fiber with a solution of HCl is incomplete. The ratio of
copper(II) to humic (fulvic) acids in the sorbed complex is estimated
at 2-3 mmol/g. The determination of copper is performed in three type
s of water: waste, sea, and river waters.
