Abstract
It is found that humic and fulvic acids have no effect on the recovery of copper(II) from water with a TIOPAN-2 fiber; however, when the con centration of these acids is higher than 10 mg/L, the desorption of co pper from the fiber with a solution of HCl is incomplete. The ratio of copper(II) to humic (fulvic) acids in the sorbed complex is estimated at 2-3 mmol/g. The determination of copper is performed in three type s of water: waste, sea, and river waters.
