Abstract
Measurements of the Stark-broadening parameters of two HeI lines with forbidden components, have been done in a pulsed are plasma. Electron density, ranging from 1.50 x 10(22) to 1.45 x 10(23) m(-3) is obtained by the interferometry of two wavelengths. Plasma temperature, determi nated by Boltzmann plots of several He I lines, lies in the interval 1 6 000-25 000 K. A set of four geometrical profile parameters are obtai ned and compared with previous experimental and theoretical results. T he empirical formulae proposed in this paper can be used in plasma dia gnostics.
