Abstract
Zr9Co7In14 crystallizes in the cubic system, space group Fm (3) over b ar m, a = 13.300(2) Angstrom, Z = 2, R = 0.0412 for 567 unique reflect ion (KM-4 diffractometer, Mo K alpha radiation). The crystal structure , related to the Cr23C6-type structure, can be described as a stacking of columns of cubes, tetragonal antiprisms, and cubo-octahedrons exte nding along the coordinate axes. One of the In atoms is coordinated by a Frank-Kasper polyhedron.
