Abstract
Experimental measurement of the spectral distribution emitted by an X- ray tube is presented using a solid-state detector. Spectral distribut ions of several X-ray tubes differing in the material of the anode and its geometry have been measured and compared. Numerical values and re levant data for Cr, Cu, Mo, Rh and W X-ray tubes are presented.
