Abstract
Experiences in the field of energy-saving conferences held in factorie s of the chemical industry are reported. A two-way exchange of informa tion between factory staff and experts helps in the development of a p lan of action and in securing the support and collaboration of the fac tory staff in the introduction of energy-saving innovations. Ecologica l advantages are not contrary to economic interests.
