Abstract
The basic elements of the foraminiferal tests always consist of globul ar crystallites which organize into complex arrangements that may lead to the formation of perfect crystals. This phenomenon is common in mi neralogy and it has been reported for other minerals. The various text ures of the foraminiferal tests, resulting from biological control cou ld bear a relation with the evolution processes.
