Abstract
A He-4 magnetometer is used to detect the static magnetic field produc ed by optically pumped He-3 nuclei submitted to a RF discharge. The ex periment is made in a magnetic held whose value (40 mu T) is close to the earth field value. From this measurement, we determine the He-3 nu clear polarisation P-n. For comparison, simultaneous determination of P-n is made by measuring the degree of circular polarisation of one of the fluorescence lines emitted from the discharge.
