Abstract
The authors report the demonstration of an instrumentation system capa ble of monitoring a large number of Bragg gratings using: a common sou rce and scanning narrowband filter. The system described monitors five arrays of 12 Bragg gratings sensors for a total of 60 sensor elements with mu strain resolution.
