Abstract
The authors analyse the statistics of optical and electrical noise in holographic data storage and present closed form expressions of the th reshold value and the bit-error-rate (BER). The results indicate that depending on the percentage of thr two types of noise. the threshold v alue should be adjusted and the BER varies.
