Abstract
The thermal degradation of blends of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) (P EA) and epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) has been studied in nitrogen a t heating rates of 5, 10, 15 and 20 degrees C/min from room temperatur e to 600 degrees C. The kinetic parameters have been calculated at var ious conversions acid their accuracy tested at different rates of heat ing. IR spectroscopy was used to study the chemical and structural cha nges which occur during degradation at 375 and 430 degrees C. (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Limited
