Abstract
Hydrogen solubility as a function of temperature in multi-component me tallic melts was investigated. The equations for the hydrogen activity coefficients, based on the equivalent concentration principle, were p roposed. These equations were obtained based on the analysis of this p rinciple with regard to the specifics of hydrogen behaviour in the met allic alloys. The comparative calculations of hydrogen solubility in t he multi-component metallic melts confirmed the applicability of the p roposed equations to alloys within a wide range of composition and tem perature.
