A number of phase transitions (PT) of NbHx (x > 0.7) were studied by c
alorimetry and thermal expansion methods at 70-430 K. The pressure eff
ect on low PT of NbH0.84 was investigated. The concentration effects o
n heat and transport properties of alpha'-, beta-, gamma-phases were d
etermined. Some of these anomalies have already been predicted, others
-such as compressibility along (110)(c) at the beta double right arrow
alpha' PT of NbH0.9, large hysteresis of thermal conductivity in the
range gamma double right arrow beta PT of NbH0.9, need additional inve
