Abstract
The holographic fringe contrast in shifted reference double-exposure i nterferometry of very small changes has been described. Two cases, tha t is linearized subfringe holographic interferometry and holographic s ubtraction have been considered. The study aims at establishing unit r eference to object beam intensity ratio for hologram recording in thes e situations.
