Determination of L-ascorbic acid by high-performance liquid chromatogr aphy. A review (1986-1992). In this review, HPLC methods for the deter mination of L-ascorbic acid during the period 1986-1992 are reviewed. The methods are tabulated according to the type of detection. In the t ables, some principal characteristics of the methods are listed: type of sample, stationary phase, mobile phase and the different compounds analysed. These characteristics are also discussed in the text. This p aper tries to illustrate the evolution of the methods during the studi ed period.
