Abstract
This review article to The Centennial Issue of The Journal of Physical Chemistry discusses some concepts and perspectives in femtochemistry. With examples, we highlight the recent progress made in the applicati ons to studies of dynamics and control of chemical reactions and their transition states in different systems and phases. Some new opportuni ties and developments are also discussed.
