Abstract
This paper reviews the use of biocomposite materials in the constructi on of amperometric biosensors. These rigid composites are formed by di spersing graphite particles in assorted polymers (especially epoxy res ins). These composites are bulk-modified biologically (adding enzymes and cofactors) and chemically (blending mediators and catalysts).
