Abstract
The results of investigation of the area 17 of visual cortex of human brain in left end right hemispheres are described in this article. The main features of the structural organization of area 17 concerning th e total neurones area, neuroglial index as well as the number of big, middle and small neurons in right hemispheres are detailed.
