Abstract
This study examined the interrater reliability of the Scale for the Pr ediction of Aggression and Dangerousness in Psychotic Patients (PAD), an instrument designed to predict the occurrence and severity of aggre ssive behavior in specific situations or interactions. The results sup ported the PAD's interrater reliability. Mean values of intraclass cor relation coefficients were acceptable for predictions pertaining to ac ute phase of illness and for predictions pertaining to better phase of illness. Compared to those of individual raters, the predictions of g roups of raters did not substantially improve interrater reliability.
