Abstract
Pediatricians frequently are involved in the initial evaluation and ma nagement of children with malignant bone tumors. Improvements in diagn osis and treatment have increased survival for many children with thes e tumors. The diagnosis and treatment of the most common bone tumors o f childhood, osteosarcoma, and Ewing's sarcoma, and other childhood ca ncers that may present with bony involvement are discussed.
