A. Ehresmann et al., NEUTRAL PHOTODISSOCIATION OF CO INTO EXCITED FRAGMENTS INVESTIGATED BY DISPERSED FLUORESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY, Journal of electron spectroscopy and related phenomena, 80, 1996, pp. 21-24
Dispersed fluorescence of excited atomic fragments has been recorded a
fter neutral photodissociation of CO as a function of the exciting-pho
ton energy using photon-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. In the fluo
rescence wavelength range between 90 and 200 nm several lines have bee
n detected which were not previously observed after neutral photodisso
ciation of CO. The recorded relative partial emission cross sections s
how complicated structures due to resonance effects. The strength of t
he observed structures are strikingly different in the partial cross s
ection functions.
