Abstract
A novel method for the detection of closely spaced sinusoids is propos ed. It is based on the notch periodogram and a simple detection criter ion. Compared with other well-known approaches, this method is not as sensitive to the accuracy of the estimated signal parameters, and it c an be implemented with a low computational load. Simulation results of the approach are included, and they show excellent performance.
