Abstract
Five observations of neurological adverse events (mild effects in 4 ca ses, acute neuropsychiatric attack with hallucinations in one case) oc curing during chemoprophylaxis with mefloquine given to travellers in Africa are reported. In three cases out of five, predisposition was fo und (previous history of depression : 2 cases, and anxiety : 1 case).
