Abstract
A new angular dihydropyranocoumarin, named qianhucoumarin I was isolat ed from the root of Peucedanum praeruptorum. By spectral analysis and chemical evidence, the structure was elucidated as (S)-acetoxy-4'(S)-t igloyloxy-3'-4'-dihydroseselin, and the absolute configurations were e stablished by chemical correlation with known compounds.
