Abstract
A holographic method for finding the orientation of the optic axis of uniaxial photorefractive crystals is proposed. A theoretical procedure for determining the wedge angle of such crystals has also been develo ped. Two BaTiO3 crystals grown by the same vender are examined and the resulting measurements lead to the values of wedge angle with an accu racy of about +/-0.1 degrees.
