Abstract
Tungsten aryloxo-complex 1 catalyses the intramolecular metathesis rea ctions of di- and tri-substituted omega-unsaturated glucose, and gluco samine derivatives, yielding bicyclic carbohydrate-based compounds 12, 13, 14, 15, containing 12-, and 14-atoms rings.
