Abstract
We report three cases of women with abdominal pathology in which an el evated serum CA 125 tumor marker could have led to an erroneous diagno sis of ovarian carcinoma, However, after peritoneal biopsies were take n, tuberculosis was diagnosed. Furthermore, specific tuberculostatic t reatment normalized serum CA 125 levels.
