Abstract
A case of lymph node necrosis occurring in an infant, in association w ith Varicella infection is de scribed. This association has not been d escribed previously. The patient was born at 26 weeks' gestation, with no significant past medical history, in particular no evidence of pri or immunodeficiency. Such cases are occasionally referred to plastic s urgeons, for management of difficult wounds. The presentation, investi gation and treatment are discussed.
