Abstract
Xanthates can be reduced to the corresponding alkane through cleavage of the sulfide bond by heating in 2-propanol in the presence of equimo lar amounts of dilauroyl peroxide, added in small portions. Copyright (C) 1996 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd
