Abstract
The combination of 1M silicon tetrachloride and 3M phenol serves as an efficient N-alpha-t-butoxycarbonyl deblocking agent in solid phase pe ptide synthesis, the duration of the cleavage being 10 min. This is de monstrated by the synthesis of the naturally occurring mu-receptor sel ective opioid heptapeptide, dermorphin. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Sc ience Ltd
