Abstract
The clinical, serological and electron microscopic findings in a 47 ye ar old woman with bioprosthetic valve coxiella endocarditis occurring 15 years after streptococcal endocarditis are described. The patient u nderwent valvular surgery a total of four times to control symptoms an d remains well on medical therapy more than two years after her last o peration.
