Abstract
We review some recent result and work in progress on the quantum struc ture of Spacetime at scales comparable with the Planck length; the mod els discussed here are operationally motivated by the limitations in t he accuracy of localization of events in spacetime imposed by the inte rplay between Quantum Mechanics and classical general relativity.
