As qualitative research methods become more refined, so there is an in
creasing need to teach data analysis methods, This paper offers a grou
p method - based on experiential learning principles - for teaching th
e analysis of textual data. Terms are defined, an outline for a prelim
inary theory input is offered and then the group method, itself, is de
scribed. Variants of the method are also described and various objecti
ons to the method are addressed.
