Abstract
We first briefly review the application of the BCS mechanism with elec tron-phonon interaction to the superconductivity of the A(3)C(60) comp ounds. We then explore an extension of this family of compounds by usi ng aromatic cryptands that we consider as ''pseudo fullerene molecules ''. Preliminary measurements of low field microwave absorption are con sistent with superconducting behavior and a Tc similar to 50K.
